We believe in being generous givers in all areas of life - time, energy,
and also our finances. We teach biblical principles of tithes and offering
and believe generosity leads to a blessed life. You’ve got options when you’re
deciding how to give: in person, online, or by automatic payment.

More than ever, The Salvation Army depends on the generosity of our supporters to provide essential social services for those struggling to meet basic needs in these tough economic times. We help over 120,000 New Zealanders every year - with budgeting advice, food parcels, life skills programmes and other comfort and support. Our aim is to give people a helping hand toward a brighter future.

Last year, The Salvation Army distributed more than 62,000 food parcels to those in need. That's a lot of food and we rely on generous food donations from businesses and individuals to meet this demand. By donating our most-needed food items, you will help directly fill our food parcels.

Counselling: Sessions are with a fully registered/qualified counsellor. A plan will be developed to see how best to meet your needs and sessions are then offered on site on a regular basis.

Salvation Army children and youth programmes empower and equip young people with life skills and confidence so that they can tackle problems head on and achieve their full potential. Our church also run youth groups and a pre-school playgroup. These are safe and stimulating environments where Christian values are affirmed and positive peer support experienced.
